I am both humbled and delighted to serve as the President of Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) Lahore Chapter. OPEN is aimed at promoting networking and collaboration between the Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals who are living and working in different countries. Currently, OPEN has over two dozen chapters in different countries with the aim of cultivating a culture of entrepreneurship, knowledge sharing and mentoring.
OPEN Lahore will leverage the 27 OPEN chapters around the world to pave the way for Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals to scale their businesses at global level. I believe, as a network of successful Pakistani entrepreneurs and professionals, OPEN can do a lot for Pakistan.
OPEN Lahore Chapter aims to be a platform for overseas Pakistani entrepreneurs, investors and professionals to connect to businesses and startups within Pakistan to foster investment, expansion or back-office development in Pakistan.
The world is seeing rapid advancements in the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) technologies like Al, blockchain, metaverse, loT etc. I think there is a great potential to invest in 4IR related trainings and businesses in Pakistan. OPEN, as a network of successful Pakistani entrepreneurs with global exposure and connections, is in a great position to play an important role in this direction.
Apart from the technology, OPEN Lahore will also work on promoting partnerships in others areas as well like textile, agriculture and finance.
I am looking forward for productive collaborations among OPEN chapters and members. By channeling our resources and efforts in the right direction OPEN members can bring a visible and sizeable change in Pakistan’s socioeconomic indicators and make Pakistan a technology and business hub of the region.
As president of OPEN Lahore, I am available to help both local and overseas Pakistani entrepreneurs in any way possible.
